Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 2016 Winter Tour
The American Symphonic and Progressive Rock Outfit Trans-siberian Orchestra, or TSO as it is commonly called, was formed in 1993 by Paul o’Neill the band’s producer and composer. The ensemble consists a team of creative visionaries including O’Neill, Al Pitrelli, Robert Kinkel and Jon Oliva as well as a large number of accompanying musicians who have come and gone over the years.
In 1996, while signed to Atlantic records, TSO released their first album “Christmas Eve and Other Stories” — it climbed to the rank of No. 53 on the charts. While it never made i t to the grade of top ten, it is considered an instant classic and went triple platinum.
TSO then released another four records and saw great success in 2009 with their album “Night Castle”, which earned the band a few more Platinum disks and achieved that highly-esteemed 5th place in the charts.
The Trans-siberian Orchestra will be setting off across North America this November and December 2016.
